Historic Gothic Suites

The Witchery By The Castle offers nine unique suites in historic buildings dating from 1595. Each suite features four-poster beds, oak-panelled bathrooms with roll-top baths, and sitting areas. Some include tartan-lined studies, book-filled bathrooms with hidden doors, and views of the Royal Mile or Edinburgh Castle. All suites include flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, and free toiletries.

Signature Dining Rooms

The hotel features two dining venues: the 16th-century oak-panelled Original Dining Room with candlelit atmosphere and the Secret Garden Dining Room with hand-painted ceiling and private terrace. The award-winning menu showcases Scottish produce including North Atlantic Cod with mussel parsley velouté and Shellfish Bisque. The wine list includes selections from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Billecart-Salmon Champagne, and Vega Sicilia.

Afternoon Tea is served at £50 per person, featuring Edinburgh Gin-cured salmon on rye bread, haggis bon bons, and freshly baked scones with clotted cream.
